I know all this depends on the antennas reception but is warrick co 42 MHZ tower up and running I have programmed the frequencies but have heard nothing. I dont know if Evansville dispatches warrick or if they have thier own tower according to the FCC they do anyone know for sure??? And BTW I love being a donating member to this site. this site is worth way more to me than what I could give moneywise. These special features are great. Thanks

Patrick

I hear Indiana State Police district 35 (Evansville) on 868.87500 with a PL of 192.8. I have not heard them on 42.42 for quite some time (almost a year)

The why can be found on RRdatabase page for District 35, to wit: This system is currently NOT operating in trunked mode. 868.8750 Mhz (192.8 PL) is currently being utilized in conventional mode as the district's dispatch frequency due to the main 42.4200 Mhz tower site being destroyed in a storm in late 2004.
BTW, Thanks for the post, I'll be driving across IN both directions in Sept. on I-64. Should I use the 42.MHz for the rest of the trip? SAFE-T isn't set up yet from Floyd CO to Gibson CO is it?

I do believe SAFE-T is not up and running here or even down this far just check out the Safe-T map for more details. The reason I posted was because I was not thinking sorry. 42 should be your freq until you reach warrick then it goes to evansville district 868.875. also Ed do you know if that if any 42 freq is used in KY I heard alot of static humming on it while on the way to owensboro the other day.

As far as I know there is no active users for the State of Kentucky in the 42 MHz range in this area.
