When I first got my R7100 I programed 32 frequencies for "Memories Scan." The scan has been working great until yesterday when I must have done something to disable the scan. When I push the SCAN button and then the MEMO button, it just beeps and Scn: 5-0 shows up in the display.

I know this has got to be covered in the manual but I haven't been able to find it. Any help will be appreciated.

Well I'm glad nobody was able to help because it gave me time to figure it out by myself. That's good!

So why not tell the rest of us how you overcame the problem, just in case we have a problem like you encounted.

The ICOM R7100 has one of the most powerful internal scan schemes of any receiver out there.

It would be hard to guess what he did, as the R7100 has twin scanning windows and select scan.

Well I wasn't sure what to do. The first thing I did was when the Scn: 5-0 showed up in the display I held down the "MEMO" button and turned the tuning knob until it displayed Scn: 5 AL. Fortunately that was all it took. I got lucky on the first try. I surely don't remember fooling with that particular setting but I must have somehow.
