The Nws Storm Prediction Center In Norman Ok Is Forecasting The
Development Of Tornadoes...a Couple Of Which May Be Strong...very
Large Hail And Damaging Winds Over Parts Of The Central And Southern
Plains From Mid-afternoon Into Tonight.

The Areas Most Likely To Experience This Activity Include

Southwest And South Central Kansas
The Oklahoma Panhandle And Western Oklahoma
Eastern Texas Panhandle

Surrounding The Moderate Risk Area...there Is A Slight Risk Of
Severe Thunderstorms From Parts Of The Southern/central High Plains
Eastward To The Mid-missouri Valley And The Ozarks.

An Upper-level Storm System Currently Moving Into The Southwestern
States Is Expected To Rapidly Move Through The Southern Rockies To
The Central And Southern Plains By Late This Afternoon And Tonight.
Low-level Moisture From The Gulf Of Mexico Has Already Spread Into
Northern Texas And Will Be In Place Across Most Of The Central And
Southern Plains By Late This Afternoon...resulting In An Unstable
Environment.

By Mid-afternoon...a Dry Line Will Be Located From Western Kansas
Southward Into The Texas Panhandle And Will Be The Impetus For
Thunderstorm Initiation Between 3-4pm Cst. Thunderstorms Are Apt To
Grow Into Supercells With Very Large Hail...tornadoes /a Couple
Which May Be Strong/ And Damaging Wind Gusts As They Move Into
Southwest Kansas...the Eastern Texas Panhandle And Western Oklahoma
During The Early Evening.

Activity Will Likely Congeal Into One Or More Thunderstorm Complexes
Late This Evening. The Storms Will Then Move East-northeast Across
The Central And Southern Plains To The Ozarks And Mid-missouri
Valley By Early Sunday Morning. The Storms Overnight Will Mainly
Pose High Wind And Hail Threats.

Those In The Threatened Area Are Urged To Review Severe Weather
Safety Rules And To Listen To Radio...television...and Noaa Weather
Radio For Possible Watches...warnings...and Statements Later Today.

As of 3:50 PM CST, initiation has occurred over the TX panhandle and extreme western N TX... as well as the eastern OK panhandle and SW KS. Storms were also noted to be firing along the western OK border.

Storms are moving NNE and NE at approximately 30-40 mph.

I've got tulsa and norman radar's up and it will get nasty before day light . the front came out of northern AZ a few day's ago and it sure didn't take long for it to start getting nasty for the plain's . i'm going to listen to my scanner feed till i get kicked off . you all be safe and watch the storm's close . the wx can change in 5 min's and we all know that since me being from N.E. part .

Lots of rain, random hail with the line as it came through here in Blanchard, then a second storm blew up just east of here, more rain and lots of 1/2" hail. No broken windows or damage, though...

Looks like that thing lined out real quick and picked up speed as it moved NE. Looks now lihe the southern part of the line's getting left behind.
