All comms were in Provoice on South TAC PV. :roll:

Everything was handled extremely well. Nice and peaceful. Saw some of the new P7100 radios the tactical team guys are using.

I heard them switching to South Tac PV as well, but I wasn't able to find that talkgroup. Was it even on the system? Or was I just missing the coms?

It's Provoice. Scanners can't pick it up. Whenever they have these big events (ie: Canada Day etc...) they are always on PV tac groups.

I call it "Cops, eh!". For my $, they should go to some other cities once in a while. It gets tiring seeing Surrey RCMP going up and down the King George, or Edmonton City doing patrols of all the regular hangouts for drunken natives...

Cops, eh...that's a good one ! I have to laugh when they bust people for public drunkeness and/or urination or buddy getting busted at 2am for his loud stereo. It's kinda like watching Trailer Park Boys.
