When starting up the SDR# software this morning, my PC hiccuped, so I hit the mouse a couple of extra times to load the software. Unbeknownst to me, there were two other windows of it "underneath" the open window, which were not discovered until I closed the one on the top. The ones underneath were not the RTL-SDR interactive ones but, ones with...

... now the problem, whenever I try to load the software I get the "Baseband from Sound Card" version that does NOTHING with the dongle. Apparently something remembers the last window closed. Is there a file to delete or edit somewhere to fix this? Because as of now, I cannot do squat. Yeah, I know, "newbies", right?

open one instance of SDR#, menu, select source, in source select rtl-sdr usb then close sdr#, open sdr# again.

@Omega-TI: You might want to make backup copies of your config files when you get things set up the way you like. That can make it easier, allowing you to just copy them back over instead of having to hunt down the particular configuration setting that got changed. Most everything is in them, though there are unfortunate exceptions (e.g. the settings inside the Recording plugin, which I always have to manually set to 8-bit and audio for my needs).

The files in question are SDRSharp.config and SDRSharp.Layout.xml and, if using DSD+, DSDPlus.bin. They are in the bin sub-directory of the SDRSharp install directory. I'd create a good sub-directory under bin to contain these "good" copies so you don't have to rename them – just drag/copy them up one level.
