J.C Medical Trauma Closed

Yes ...the new JCMC level 2,trauma center is closed.They say "do to paper work".The Gov.is looking into it.
If Mayor Frank Hague (ask your Grand parents) was alive,this would never happen !

Hospitals like to think that they are not a business. They are. If they are losing money they will eventually close. I not saying that this was the reason in this case. But it could be. A local hospital in my area closed do to mismanagement and their load is now on other hospitals. Emergency rooms are often all code "Red".

Well 2 years ago St Barnabas health care system closed West Hudson Hospital and just last year Irvington Hospital. Chatter in the streets tells me Montainside ( Atlantic Health Care ) is next along with Union Hospital.

Update:JCMC(Trauma Unit) is now open for buisness.Must be nice,that when 1 shuts down ,you only need to go 9 miles to UNDMJ.And 13 to Hackensack Med.Cen for a Trauma bed.

Plus the nearest Medvac has to come out of Somerset County to boot !!
