Jackson/Barrow going 800 mhz

Someone did a typo on the article

Many other counties still use the older, less reliable VHS radio technology, so switching to an 800 MHz system would let them communicate more easily.

A VHF system is "less reliable"? Man, they must have talked with the Motorola man (and he/she was probably the one who sold that "less reliable" VHF system).

Unless its a new system we don't know about (VHS) they might be using that for the base units and 8 tracks for portables.

Barrow County needs 800 like I need another foot. Ever try to listen to them? You'll die from boredom before much happens worth hearing. Good grief!
