IS Jackson Fire on the county system? How do I know its them talking or if county dispatch toning them out?

Jackson is not on the trunked system however some Jackson chiefs if not all have trunking radios to use when responding into Plumsted for mutual aid,they operate on their own frequencies which can be found here: Ocean County, New Jersey (NJ) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference dispatch frequency is 508.1875 pl 71.9 if you hear stations 54,55,56 or 57 thats Jackson.

The 508.1875 frequency elias listed is the County Fire Dispatch frequency. County does all dispatching for Jackson fire. After county tones them out, communicatons between county and the fire units are on the Jackson Fire Tac 1 frequency listed in the database here (the link that elias provided in his post). They rarely use the Fire Tac 2 frequency. The Fire Ground A, B, & C frequencies are low power, so you would have to be near the scene of the incident in order to hear them on any of those frequencies.
