His license should have been revoked a year ago when fellow hams reported what he was doing then.

Not very smart though, running a grow operation and dealing in stolen property, "Hey, let's radio the cops and let them know where I am, duh".

Good ole Jackson, Mi. When I got out of the Corps in '76, I could have lived anywhere, but nope, I went home to Jackson. Some years later because I am of the male species, I was treated like a criminal while going through a divorce. After the divorce I moved 500 miles to get away from such nonsense. Without a black cloud over my head I became quite successful and retired early.

Thank you Jackson, Michigan. They say you can never go home and I never will.

So far, in all of the cases of "bogus messages via public safety radio channels," not one terrorist has been involved. Several such transmissions have been from authorized users of those channels, though.

False radio signals are nothing new. We used to submit "MIJI reports" for those things.
