I question the thread title. Reports I read said all guns and radios were accounted for - none missing. One made a suggestion that he may have had a gun, they weren't sure, but if he did, it wasn't from the jail.

Agreed on the radio point of discussion.
However, the link within the OP was generated by the news media website's title, and the way RR.com prints a link within a post. Conclusion: TheDenverPost.com had reason enough to title their article "...uniform with gun...", at the time the article was posted. Too bad corrections didn't follow by TheDenverPost.com
