The next Tulsa area scanner meeting will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday the 17th at the Delta Cafe at 31st and Peoria Ave. The address is...

Tulsa, OK

Just ask where the meeting room is and the employees will direct you. We had a good time last November and hope more of you will attend. Please bring any radio gear you want to show off and ask any questions because the more the better for discussion. See you there!

Yeah, I'm sure some people on here would love that *cough*CommShrek*cough*. I for one would NOT be attending if the meeting was held at a place like that. I realize this is probably a joke but I wouldn't put it past some of the folks on here. Maybe that will motive him to start posting again.

i may get by there, you know whats funny tho is after all these years i dont even own a police scanner anymore. when ch 8 let me go in november i sold everything. i ride with friends while they are on duty a few times a week and its weird hearing the dispatchers again that i used to hear all freaking night long when i worked at ch 8. i only have a uniden scanner from the early 90's which doesnt trunk, i only kept it to listen to ham freqs and noah wx radio. i do have my 2 meter radio still, i need to hook it up i guess. its weird getting into my truck and theres no console and no radios after all those years. well i may see ya there, i feel like im comin down with the flu and the wx is fittin to go sour so who knows. pj, is that a tornado you shot or just a stray pic? folta.

It's a pic I found on the net and I don't remember where? Shhhhhhh don't tell anyone, I don't want the weather nazis like rdale and friends to come over here and give me a sermon about using other people's weather pics.

The Tulsa area scanner meeting is canceled due to the current winter storm. We are going to have it on the following Wednesday January 24 same time and same place. See you then. Thanks...
