Recently programmed DeMotte/Keener FD analog VHS to my SDS scanners. Can hear the annoying double click of a cross band repeat at the end of comms. Is DeMotte/Keener going to switch to the Safe-T network for primary comms, or be like the idiots in Lake County that think having their own system is the way to go while creating havoc with agencies outside their system try to communicate with each other? Luckily for Jasper the population is greatly smaller. And yes, they can communicate (somewhat) on Safe-T but don't know if all Keener is equipped. Wheatfield, Remmington and Rensallear(which I still can't spell correctly) are in the clear on Safe-T.
