I was in Joplin this past weekend.
On listening to 154.8750 JASCO Metro Law Enforcement on my Pro-96
all I heard was occasional data bursts on this freq. Sounded somewhat like
pager data bursts. No voice comms in four days, no PL/DPL tones.

Can someone else monitor this or shed some more light on the use
of this frequency?

I did not collect any new data to add to the database this trip.
Everything is as posted on here.

I've only heard data bursts on that frequency, over the past 4 years. I'm not sure whether it's for paging or data. j c

What you're hearing is JASCO (Jasper County 911's) VHF Mobile Data Terminal and Vehicle Location repeater.
