Jacksonville Beach has gone to a full P25 system using their existing frequencies. DB shows it as Phase 1, running Pro96com it shows as Phase 2. Have only heard two Phase 1 transmissions for radio checks.

They are basically Phase 2 Systems,but are running all Phase 1 Audio . The Jacksonville System and Jax Beach Systems both show up as Phase 2 Systems in UNITUNKER and can be programmed as Phase 2 on the 496.The Jacksonville System was bid out as only wanting Phase 1,but I don't think Motorola is building different Systems.They probably build out a system as Phase 2 then just allow the user to use the Phase 1 Options. Any Professionals out there with knowledge about this ?
I've been monitoring the P25 system for almost 2 weeks and have only heard a few phase 1 transmissions. I'm assuming that everything else is phase 2 which I can't monitor.
No all phase 1 that I have seen . The PD is all ENC while fire (is slow) clear.
