JCU Campus Police

Hello all.

Does anyone have any idea where might be a good place to look for the frequencies in use by the campus police at John Carroll University in University Heights, OH? The FCC lists several licenses that belong to John Carroll, but none of the frequencies seem to be very active- minus a few that are used by maintenance crew, etc. I have seen when I was on campus once that they seem to use the radios frequently, and after hours of monitoring the ones on the FCC site haven't heard a thing. There is also nothing listed for JCU in the RR database. I think that this would be a really interesting agency to listen to. Any advice on where to look would be appreciated. Some in the past have suggested that I look at the size of the antennas on their radios, and from what I can tell I would guess them to be in the 400MHz range from the looks of the antenna on one of their cars, but other than that I don't really know where they are in the band.

They are on 151.775. And, are they actually a Police Department? Or, just Campus Security?

Are you sure they are on 151.775? I've listened for awhile and never heard anything. I'm not sure if they are an actual police force, or just security officers....

Those are the frequencies I've had in the scanner, and haven't heard much other than maintenance crews and such. I'm wondering if they might be on some trunked system, I'm not sure how those are listed with the FCC, sometimes I think it is more tricky to track them down that way. Any other info is greatly apprecaited.
