Jeannette City Schools DMR system

I was able to spend time monitoring the 2 freqs for Jeannette City schools (2 singe freq repeaters, one at each school) and heard the same voices and convos on both freqs. My scanner showed standard DMR for each transmission.
463.3125 CC1 Elementary School
461.8875 CC1 Jr/Sr High School
TG100 SL1
TG200 SL1
TG400 SL1
TG500 SL1

This is a similar situation that's happening in East Allegheny. Could these 2 repeaters just be linked?

I feel like I'm seeing more and more linked conventional DMR/NXDN systems in the last few years. Seems like it's becoming a more common approach for multi campus schools/colleges/hospitals that want basic interoperability but don't need all the overhead that comes with a true multi site trunked network.

Yeah this is found more often than not with school districts. Those users who need to multicast on more than one channel may share a common slot on each school's assigned frequency (school ops on slot 1, district security on slot 2 for example)

I will monitor them again today and see if I get enough info to make a submission. I guess it just confused me because I'm not familiar with all of these linked systems, so it caught me off guard.

Best way to know if you see the same TGIDs each frequency and is Conventional DMR. Best bet conventional networked.

Another way to tell is an SDR dongle with DSD+. You can see idle burst about every minute. Not fool proof, but also a sign frequencies are networked together
