Yesterday for the first time I heard activity on DTRS TG 1517, currently listed as "Jefferson County Future Use ". I heard someone call this TG "Genesee TAC", and that person identified themselves as "Genesee Base". I believe I also heard a unit use a "90x" call sign, which is consistent with Genesee Fire call signs. It sounded like they were discussing equipment maintenance/admin issues.

Nate, I have that logged as Foothills Fire Ops channel but it certainly could be Genesee as well.

I don't have my notes or a programmed radio with me ATT to look at the TG, but Foothills and Genesee have shared a C2C TG for quite sometime. It gets used a lot when the severe weather protocol is activated on I-70.

Update: I've just submitted a RR db update request, to re-name TG 1517 "Genesee TAC". A few hours ago I heard fire tones on 1517 for Genesee and Highlands units. Hopefully someone can determine the precise name for this TG, as well as the agencies using it, and submit an appropriate update request to RR.
