Jefferson Co. Pager Tones

Does anyone have a list of the different FD pager tone frequencies, including EMS first response? I found a program that lets you type it into your computer and it reproduces them.

We normally don't publish this information due to the ability to interfere with Fire operations by setting off fire pagers with a portable radio and the tone generator.

I only know of 2 other people on the forum that might have this information and I am almost sure they are of the same mindset that I am.

That's completely understandable. I can see the havoc that could be caused. I thought it might be available though since all the other info such as Rx/Tx and PL tones are already available on the site. Would you be able to say what Anchorage EMS's tone is? We have one that sounds exactly like it on a Zetron encoder but I have know way of figuring out what it is other than its number is 12.

I'm all for the legitimate scanner fan knowing radio and pager frequencies. Problem is when they are published in forums like this, or to people you don't know, the information may fall into the hands of one who may have mischief on their minds.

We've been having some problems with "phantom" tones going out causing people's pagers to activate. The generally results in words being used that few mothers would condone.

My friend KF4KTJ is correct - I am of the same mindset as he (I think I'm # 2 of the 2 others).

Fortunately your message indicates that you understand and that is appreciated.
