Rumor has it that some/all of the Jefferson Co 911 System subscriberbase will have backup MARCS capability (remember they are getting new radios during the rebanding process that are digital capable).
What I'm hearing is that it may be a deal worked out since MARCS uses some county towers.
Of course, if this is true, then given the 'backup' status you likely wouldn't hear much activity from any of these agencies unless the JeffCo 911 system was experiencing problems.
This would server to get the load #s of up for the towers around here too - since right now with 5+ MARCS sites in the county there is barely any use whatsoever. Would make sense to load em up with subscribers (or at least inflate the numbers to show good activity).
