Jefferson Co. SO possibly going Encrypted

Has anyone heard any details about JCSO going E? One of my buddies is a deputy and said since there radios don't have the AES boards they are getting new radios and will be encrypting due to Interop issues with LMPD.

It's public safety... You can always expect encryption and never rule it out.

I'm surprised we are still talking about stuff like this in 2022.

I wonder if they will rebroadcast their communications like they are doing with the Metro PD communications?
