Well… Today Jefferson County 911 transitioned to the Phoenix Fire Station Alerting system.

I believe I caught the last human dispatched call at around 0939.

It appears calls are still being transmitted over the VHF frequency alongside the JeffCo 3 800Mhz talkgroup.

It’s very disappointing I won’t be hearing those dispatches any longer.

I was wondering about that, I also heard it.

When I was listening to it via my CDM1250, I first thought that it was the regular dispatching, but then I noticed the spacing between the two tone strings and was like "Did they route the MCC Console through the VHF channel too?"

It definitely sounds more funnier because they used to use the same voice as Central County did, but then switched to this male voice.

I had put the IO channel in my work radios scan list when they announced they were starting to test the system and I was confused when one day it was suddenly male.
I can’t determine which I like better between Samantha and whatever the male voice is called.
