Help! Jefferson Parish Fire Departments have stopped using LATIE. Does anyone know where they went? The announcement made when they switched said to go to the "conventional system". I have checked the Old Jefferson Parish Analog system and have not heard them there. Anybody have any information??

Thanks

Nope ..been there done that. I went to ID search on both the Jefferson Parish Analog and on LATIE and can not find them. It's like they fail off the face of the earth.

Thanks for the reply though..

TRY THESE: 856.5125 Third District (NEW) CONFIRMED through fire alarm, 852.087 David Crockett in Gretna,855.212 Kenner,851.512,851.412. I have to find one of my note books for the old conv. frequencies. I will work on it from my end up here in winnsboro.

Many thanks. I will try these tonight. When Fire Alarm made the announcement they divided the different departments by Fire Ground Channels. I recall Harvey / Terrytown was assigned Fire Ground 4.

also be advised from what i understand several fire departments are sharing channels on the conventional system(with the exception of district 1 which had and still has its own channel). i believe harahan and third district are sharing a channel until things can be worked out...

Here are the old conventional frequencies: 852.012 third, 856.262 grand isle, 851.362 dist 1, 852.387 dist 1, 855.212 kenner, 851.412 dist 7, 851.387 dist 8, 851.512 dist 4 & 5, 859.262 dist 5, 154.295 & 852.087 gretna. 453.325 tone out. Third District has installed new low band radios in all of their trucks (33.700). These are the original 800 frequencies before the switch to UNRELIABLE trunking. 3rd district is using the low band as backup due to TRS failure after Katrina. Hope this helps.
