Is this still on an EDACS system, in conjunction with Broken Arrow, Bixby and Glenpool?

Since your post says this "The City of Jenks has added another control channel to their TRS.", are there other frequencies already known? I don't find anything in the database other than that the system is pending.

Thanks!

Dang! I looked before I posted that and I didn't find that. Must not have looked very well. :)

Thanks!

With the way that the frequencies have to be programmed in LCN order I wouldn't think that you could have two systems in one bank.

on my pro 93 and pro 95 you can have more than one edacs system in the same bank I just make sure you don't start out with channel 00 I have jenks bixby glenpool and broken arrow all in one

Good deal! Can you give any more information?

Like how you them ordered and if you leave any spaces between the groupings, etc.

Yes, ernesTbud, I'd like to know more on this too. I thought by going by LCN order that you had to enter the frequencies in the appropriate channels to receive them. Obviously that must not be the case.

Please share more with us. I'd love to put them in one bank myself. I'll try to figure it out myself or seek info in the manual. Thanks.

EDACS systems MUST be in channel numbers that correspond to the LCN number.

If you have two systems that use DIFFERENT LCNs with no overlap, you can put them in the same bank, but if they do overlap, they will interfere.

Scanning may be funky since scanner will stop on the first control channel, and if there is traffic go to the LCN indicated in the datastream. But if there's no traffic, it will continue to scan, and then find the other control channel. You may (I'm not sure) need a conventional freq between the two control channels.

You'll also have confusion over talk groups, unless there is no overlap in them, either.

I've done quite a bit of testing and I don't think it works the way you're thinking. Let me ask you this:

Are you saying it works for you because you're able to monitor BA, Bixby and Glenpool from the same bank? Or are you actually watching to see if the traffic you're hearing is working off of both BA's main control channel and the Bixby/Glenpool control channel?

The reason I ask is because I'm thinking you might be mistaken about it working because you're hearing Bixby and Glenpool on the main BA system instead of hearing their simulcast on the Bixby/Glenpool-only southern extension.

Is this a possibility?

I haven't had any luck getting this to work, or I don't think it's working. I have not heard anything out of Jenks PD anyway. However, the talkgroup ID listed in the database for Jenks PD is 04-041, which is the same ID as the one for Glenpool PD. I am hearing Glenpool PD with the Jenks PD talkgroup turned on and the Glenpool PD talkgroup turned off (obviously since it's the same ID), but have never heard anything out of Jenks after having it setup to hear them for several days now. So... either that may be the wrong ID for Jenks PD, they aren't using the 800 system, or programming 2 EDACS systems in the same bank on my radio does not work. No big deal, don't really need to hear them anyway and just playing to see if it would work. :)

I have the 04-041 plugged in, but am on search on the Jenks Site. Traffic I hear is coming across 06-041 only at this time.
EDIT:
AS Soon as I finished typing this Fire did a tone test, I just missed the ID but I think it was 06-081.
