I noticed a few days ago that 2 additional frequencies (460.3500 and 476.0250) are now being utilized by the system.

I am curious, did someone flip a switch or was this done by the system? I know the system is designed to add frequencies when capacity demands, but there hasn't been anymore activity on the system in the 2 years I have been here. Only during hurricane sandy did the system utilize extra frequencies.

Jersey City Police or Fire? They both switched to Interop I thought? I hear many Police calls on interop. Might have to add those in and listen in!!

They both use the same system. Someone decided to patch some of the uasi frequencies on Event 1 and 2. That's what your hearing.

These patches were done for the closing of the Pulaski Skyway Rt 1& 9.

Oh ok thanks guys so far the best one I heard yet was they were welding and the sparks below we're setting things on fire. I know that didn't make people happy.
