Fire-7 (batt chief) involved in accident, while responding to working structure fire.

21st & Liberty Streets, Jacksonville FL

Unknown injuries, unknown entrapment.

Rescue chief and extra rescue unit enroute.

"JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A fire department SUV rushing to a call was involved in a crash with a pickup truck Friday morning at 21st and Liberty streets that seriously injured one driver.

Channel 4 was told the driver of the pickup was ejected and transported to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center with what were described as life-threatening injuries. The Jacksonville Fire-Rescue vehicle was that of a battalion chief in the SUV was also taken to Shands with less serious injuries.

Neither driver's name was released."

The article says the fire dept truck was hit by the other truck. From the picture, sure looks like another bad JFRD driver failed to properly clear an intersection.
