Alachua county moved to that ab a year ago, annoying but I got used to it.

WHAT FREQUENCY?
Jacksonville P25 System (FCRS)TG 1563 JAA Events. I only heard it once since last night. It maybe them just installing the equipment now and testing. It was scheduled to be finished Sept 30th so they are behind. I know they have 63 Fire Stations to do plus HQ,Backup HQ, and Fire Academy.
Whooey , I was down in Alachua (City) listening to it this past April. I also have heard it in Charleston S.C. in April of 2018 so I have some experience listening to it. It is different but you get used to it.

I bet they "practiced" for a month (on training channel) here before going live with purvis, dispatching every business name in the county LOL.
I wonder if SJC will go to that? Seems like lots of areas are going to this.

I was at the station this morning and at 7:00AM the test was all computer voice.
