I see there are some talk-groups that offer a counties fire or police dispatch and tac channels for mutual aid purposes. I was just courious if those patches remained at all times ? This morning I tried listening to the 9A (Frederick Fire) patch via the system from the Pax site and didnt hear a peep.

Most of the time they remain up but there are times where they go silent for some time before coming back online.

The Ft Detrick patches were down after the shooting nearby earlier this year, so they seem conditional. Also, I'm not sure if the tgs are available on the Pax site, but in any case, a user affiliated on the Pax site would need to be tuned to the Frederick County tg for its traffic to be broadcast off the site.
