Jonathan did a fine job repairing the cold solder joint issue on my SDS100 and I now have one of his carbon fiber battery clips installed as well. I sent the scanner to him on September 3rd and received it back today, October 9th. That's probably a quicker turn around than Uniden at this point and I now have the peace of mind that the repair was done to the entire J401 connector and not just the pins that began to fail.
