So will this affect the Shawnee / Lenexa / Olathe online scanner feed? I thought most of JOCO's public services on the 700MHz digital system were encrypted except for fire and EMS.

If so, I hate to see it go. I enjoy listening to the feed since I grew up in the Shawnee / Merriam area.

No this should not effect that online feed. Those city PD's have secondary, Tac and Investigation channels that are Enc. The dispatch channels are in the clear.

All the county & city agencies are on the new system (700/800 Mhz Digital P-25 System)
