Looks like some of the county have gone P25 Phase 2.

Looking to buy a new scanner. Either a 436HP or TRX-1 probably. Does anyone scan this area and have a recommendation?

Are the agencies in Washington Co encrypted? Is it even worth buying a new scanner?

There is some talkgroups that are encrypted but all of the main dispatch channels are in the clear.

I have a 436 and a 197. Both of them pick them up just fine.
