MARCER is starting to try to make the migration from the old 800 system to the new P25 system, but with little success. I've heard KCK and KCMO EMS units trying to call KUMed, OPR, Providence, Children's Mercy, and Children's Mercy South, but with no responses, except from Children's Mercy this week (in fact, they're now regularly replying on the new digital talkgroups to all units that call in on them as opposed to the old system with the other area hospitals). Give it a few more months, and I'm sure that most of the other hospital EDs will start migrating.

FYI for all...MARCER will be making the full P25 transition on Thursday March 15 sometime during the morning hours. This comes from a very reliable source, so watch for new talkgroups to start popping up.

Roll call started at 0800. Still working on getting a couple hospitals on the right system it sounds like.

Yeah, KCMO Fire and various JOCO and Lawrence have checked in on KCMO P25. I've been listening to the Hospital Patient Reports on KCMO P25. AMR is on 31843 are they using that as a Dispatch channel in JOCO?

AMR Independence or not?! Most Independence AMR ambulances look like they had 700/800mhz antennas on their rigs, but not sure!? I also, being the nerd that I am, looked at their radios and they were XTS Series radios, but had the VHF antenna on it... It would make sense that they would transition to KCMO/Independence/JOCO's radio system for interoperability purposes!!

I think it was just JOCO AMR Dispatch from the TGID 318xxx series. They might stay on KCMO simulcast with JOCO. I can't pick up Indep system. Locally I believe they run JOCO and Indep/JACO. I've never really monitored them before. I've seen Indep on KCMO P25 and they stay the same TGIDs. I L/O around 9am on KCMO. Sounded like a dispatch and all the calls were on the Kansas side to Kansas side addresses.

There are also several already showing up in the MARRS database that are not in the JoCo system and a few in the JoCo database that are not entered into MARRS yet.

I am not familiar with who the database admin is for MARRS, if they are the same between the JoCo P25 and MARRS or not... Might not hurt when submitting new shared TG's, such as these for MARCER, that it is noted that they should be the same between the JoCo P25 system and MARRS.

Just a thought to keep things together and uniform.

I think there's different admins for both sides of the state line, but I submitted my findings to both the KS and MO guys. My guess is they'll fix everything up so all of the tg's are together as you mentioned above.

Starcom21 lately has been the admin for both MARRS DB. I too added those and a couple more :) before your posting. I think it's safe to say we could add the Hospitals, Marcer and AMR to both DB. Someone's got their work-cut-out for them this weekend.

This one should be St. Mary's Blue Springs in case the DB admins are watching this thread. Only hospital in Belton is Research.

Oops, good catch! Shows how familiar I am with Belton and Blue Springs. I added a note, correcting my error, to my submission for the database admin. Thanks!

Anyone else notice the RR database for this system has gone completely blank?

The system is still very much online, what happened?

I noticed the same thing a few days ago. I thought it was just a temporary disruption in the database connection. I guess not. Any ideas as to what caused this?

I thought most of the med channels that were being used on it transitioned to P25 that's why they took it down. What traffic are you hearing on it?
