Is Johnston County using any encryption now or are they in the future? I saw a few updated talk groups that mention this. If someone could let me know I would appreciate it.

JCSO uses it on all of thier talkgroups except for SO Main. Not sure if anyone else is using encryption in Joco.
Their are a few other encrypted talk groups but nothing really worth mentioning. Everything that most would monitor is currently in the clear.

This same question was asked in January.

One of the respondents apparently has a relative who is a Deputy in the JCSO. That said encryption started back then.
