Joyrider on the run in San Gabriel

San Gabriel PD chased down a joyriding suspect who ditched a Toyota Camry and left it rolling. The suspect then fled on foot in the area of Wells St and Palm Ave. Containment has been set up. LASD, Monterey Park, and Alhambra PD on scene. Suspect is a male Hispanic wearing a white t-shirt.

UPDATE: Suspect still on the run. LASD and the other agencies ended the containment as of 12:55 AM.

Now I am not sure if the suspect is not in custody. After the switchover to MA-3, there was little radio activity going on. If the local paper writes about it in the morning, I'll guess we'll know for sure......
