Most of the mid- America was all red tonight 12-5-08 indicating 750km and beyond VHF path from California NE towards Quebec . Haven't seen that much red before.

In general, that site is pretty accurate, but sometimes HF data slips through the filters and it gives false readings. I think that's whats showing up here. Hams that chase VHF/UHF DX *LOVE* that site to key them in on good conditions.

Here is another web site with good Dx Maps. The more red over your area the better. I look at them weekly.
