Does anyone remember the old bearcat jolly roger radio scanner. am/fm with 2 channel crystal scanner. would interrupt radio when scanner traffic came on. i think i have one tucked away up in the attic.

Yep. Had one of those back in my formative scanning years. I can still remember what I listened to on it also. I listened to Anaheim (CA) FD on 46.26 and Orange County FD on 46.14. Pretty sure I got those freqs correct.

Ah, simpler times. Just open 'er up and plug in a crystal of your choice.

mine says vhf hi but we found out if you plug uhf crystals in them they work
