Thats the first thing I did, except the clear was intentional

, as you said the preprogramed US stuff dosen't produce much in Canada.
After trying to fiddle with unidens program for a while I gave up on it. I used the arc264t demo program, had it capture the data from the database on this site for york region and Ontario Provincial Gov (took 2 systems to get the talk groups in

) proves the Gov talks too much

.
Been trying to find a local retailer for arc246t program here, but it looks like I will have to do a web order to get my real copy.
I've only had the scanner for a couple of days (enough for one major storm and a 15 hour power outage.) been lots to hear.
Apart from the previous link, this one
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&stid=109 is also helpfull. It gets you the non trunked frequencies for those services that have not switched yet. I am using both, the services in my area (Lake Simcoe) are in the process of switching over so there is a lot of activity in trunked and non-trunked.
