Just got my ticket and wanted to say hi. I will be on the air in the CT area with the call KB1YKJ. I already picked up 2 very nice radios (great deals) the Icom 92ad and Icom 2820 with the Dstar option. I have been reading lots on ham radios in genera and been doing lots of scanner streaming for years. The ham stuff is new to me though and looking foward to getting involved with it.
Now the million dollar question are there any tricks or tips that you have learned over the years that you wish you knew when you were starting.
