i have a uniden BC370CRS, and i am trying to find some freq numbers and can't, looking for the mabas 7, and manteno police, i have the fire. what type of scanner would i need to hear the fire a and fire b for kankakee county, its a 4 digit freq. thanks

It appears Kankakee Co Public Safety operates on a Type II trunked system. Details are here:

You will need a trunking scanner to monitor this system. If I'm not mistaken, any trunking scanner will work for this system. See the list here:

The 4 digit numbers are talkgroup id's. Talkgroups are something like channel numbers and completely separate from the frequencies. Read up on the wiki about trunked radio systems if you're unfamiliar:
