Its a Smartzone, Omnilink System.... coverage was designed for mobile use... and its not bad... However there are dead spots ... one being near near an inlet and boat ramp which is why you want to make all your stops out in the middle of th intercoastal or you have to back out from the ramp into the intercoastal to get out and thats on the mobile. The condos along the ocean also have a few little blocks but not as many as you might expect. With the digital scanner you can pretty much cover radio traffic from Miami to Fort Pierce and its pretty decent. Of course I have been using it since it came on so I am fluent in digital
