With my PRO 2055 and the stock antenna I can pick up this dispatch and some drivers.
With my BC 350 C and the stock antenna I can pick up dispatch and few more drivers than with the PRO 2055.
With the PRO 2055 and the RS 20-176 I can only pick up dispatch with ATT on , and no drivers with or without the ATT on.
With the BC 350 C and the RS 20-176 I can pick up dispatch and most if not all drivers loud and clear.

It sounds like you have a serious desense or intermod problem and possibly from VHF paging in the 152-153MHz range. It also sounds like your BC 350 is handling it better than the PRO 2055. If you have to enable the ATT to improve your reception you are most certainly overloading the receiver with the bigger antenna.
