Well i successfully passed the technician class ham exam this morning. Only missed 2. I look forward to making contacts with everyone i can in Oklahoma. I should have my callsign in about a week.

It might be delayed if your VE mails in the results. It's possible that they will send the results electronically. In that case as soon as your name shows up in the FCC database with your callsign you are ready to work the airways. That could be Tuesday or Wednesday for that to happen. Paper work will show up a week to 10 days later.

Thanks. I beleive they said they are mailing it in. I'll be watching the QRZ page, and the FCC ULS for my license to appear. Once it does, ill likely make my first contact to a friend of mine.
