Just want to listen to one group!

Hi, everyone. I am not new to scanners but I am new to the world of digital scanners. I have a Uniden BCD396T. My question---

I have a system for Union County in which I have a group for Elizabeth, NJ. Both have quick keys which I have set up on the scanner. How do I just listen to the Elizabeth group?? It seems that the Union County system scans through ALL groups when it's selected. Do I need to lock out the other cites?

Sounds like you have the scanner set to ID Search mode. You need to tap SCAN while it is on that system to switch it to ID SCAN mode.
