i have a standard Subscription now to Radio Ref. is it worth the 15.00 to upgrade? what more would i get?

Well, in my opinion, with RS scanners it does.

If you use WIN or ARC, it's a lot easier to download systems.

A few clicks, and you're programming is done.

well i have a radioshack pro 164 trunking base scanner an i program it by hand..an its a pain the *** an i used the free trial thing to program it. i got the usb cable but i thought u it cost more then 15.00 to do the programing? no?

Ah, if you don't own the program (WIN or ARC) then you would have to buy that too.

So $30(For program) plus $15 for 6 month subscription to RR

I think you would enjoy, if nothing else, buying the programming (WIN or ARC) It will save you hours, and you'll have a back-up in case something happens and your scanner gets erased.
