Is any one famliar with this WA APCO 25 system. I have been thinking of buying a BCD396T and am looking for a valid excuse

I'm not sure if the JIWN will be enough of an excuse for a 396T. Most of the traffic on the system is encrypted. A few un-encrypted talk groups show up, but not very often.

There are some other digital systems you can monitor in the area, mostly military...

Thanks for the info Chris.
I have noticed that some of the more sensitive talk groups once on the Seattle trunked system do not seem to appear anymore so I was wondering if Seattle also has limited APCO 25 usage though I have seen nothing in print about them.
