It is with great sadness that on Thursday 29th Steve Scott passed away at home, leaving his wife Bobby and son Ryan.
Steve had a long battle with cancer.

I think our new guy worked with him. I will let him know. Not good to hear.
Jeffrey, it is an old telegrapher's term from the Western Union and railroad days. It carried over to amateur radio where you will see a term like Walter Cronkite, KB2GSD (SK). Google that and see how it is used.

He was a periodic contributor here and provided good information about what was going on in the Denver area. He seemed to be a genuinely nice individual, and it's sad to hear about the passing of a member of this site. RIP, K4XB.

Totally shocked. Steve ran the radio shop at DIA for several years after working down at the EEB for a few more. He also was an avid recumbent cyclist. He was most certainly one of the nicest and most knowledgeable guys around. RIP, Scotty. :(
