Just a heads up that on Saturday Nov. 5th and Sunday Nov. 6 the Calgary Sports Car Club is holding its annual Kananaskis Car Rally. More details about this event can be found here at: http://bishop.ab.ca/CSCC/kananaskis/index.htm
Frequencies you want to be monitoring for this event for sure are the VE6RYC repeater on 146.8500 and possibly, if you are close to the location the Fortress Mountain repeater VE6AQA on 147.1200. Last year I found it to be worthwhile to monitor STARS and other public safety frequencies in that area as well. If anyone else finds or knows about any other interesting frequencies used for this event I would like to hear about it!
