Does anyone know if Kane County, Illinois, and Huntley/Hampshire/Pingree Grove/etc. are still broadcasting fire dispatch, etc., on the same frequencies as the were just a couple of days ago? I have a feed going, and have NOT heard any of those suburbs recently!

They are still on same channels, what feed in particular are you using?
I am also a feed provider. I do not hear anything with Kane County. I think I will have to look at my scanner programming???

Which feed are you listening to that your not hearing anything on?
It is possible that they aren't running calls because most of Kane County is Rural.
What kind of scanner are you using? None of the KaneCom channels have changed, TriCom, Elgin, QuadCom are on Starcom, you'll need a simulcast capable scanner to listen to them.
I pick up Kane and other counties on the Cook North / NWCD - Simulcast using SDS-100
Kane County is alredy on SC21. Police is encrypted, Fire is not encrypted.
You should be able to monitor Fire on these:
Kane County - Elgin
Kane County - QuadCom 911
Kane County - Tri-Com 911 Central Dispatch

I thought kane fire had planned to migrate over after the sheriff's department did (a year or so after was what I orginally heard)
I'm still hearing Tri-Com FD on 158.235 Pl 107.2 along with Starcom

Most of the KaneCom fire agencies only have a few starcom radios due to price. A full swtich is still many years away,
