Radio station KASH -- where's it at? Some websites say Alaska, others say California. Checked FCC database in Database section of "Radio Reference" under call with nothing found.
KASH - AM ... 1700KHz. Alaska, Or CA?

There doesn't appear to be any KASH-AM or even any stations at 1700 kHz in that area of the country. KASH-FM is on 107.5 in Anchorage.

Interesting.... Friend that lives about 80 Miles south of me has been hearing the station during the day. In a E he commented that,
and I've been having same luck
I haven't heard it yet myself, but with an antenna consisting of a about 50' of wire inside an apartment (No outdoor antennas) and a 20+ year old receiver, I may not be likely to.
Wonder if KASH-AM could be a very recent call change & frequency move for some station -- or a new station?
