Good evening!!

Recently, I made a visit to the home of the LARGEST, outdoor HD "scoreboard" in the world - Kauffman Stadium!!! Daktronics really outdid themselves with that one! I can't wait until they re-install the crown on top of the scoreboard!

While watching the Royals plunk the Giants 5 to 3, I got to thinking about what radio system is in-use at the stadium.

Many of the Event Staff appeared to be using UHF Motorola HT750, 1250, and 1550 portable radios.

Does anyone here know what system they are using at Kauffman Stadium? A local LTR system, perhaps?

Thanks and 73's

Howdy, MJThomas!

GEEZ! That pretty much covers the bill, I'd say! :)

I guess I didn't do enough searching - I totally missed that category when I was looking for the information last night!

Thanks for the reply, and have a GREAT day!

This is a little late (haven't checked in for a while) but here is what they currently use:
Parking/Ops 451.5000 DCS 205
Security/Ops 461.9250 DCS 223
Security 463.4500 DCS 226
Maint 464.8750 DCS 243
F6 TAC 452.6750 DCS 245
Unid 467.8250 DCS 244
Center Plate 461.5250 CTCSS 141.3Hz

Up until a couple of years ago they were using the 3 freqs in the earlier post with the P/L of 82.5, all simplex. They installed some repeaters, so they have better coverage, and added some freqs.
