Blaze 3 is KCLT Command, all trucks in standby postions, 500 lbs of fuel, 80 souls.

Unsure of emergency or aircraft at the time.

Don't forget about the Char/Meck feed in the Live Audio section

Control time a few minutes ago, I kinda zoned out when it got so quiet. Plane landed safely and was escorted back to the terminal by Blaze 3. Still unsure of the actual emergency...or even aircraft type. This was a quiet incident.

KRDU has those as well...the ones where all of the sudden CFR (KRDU Fire Dept) radios back "Aircraft has touched down on 23R" and I am like "Oh crap! I forgot they had an alert going!" :lol:
Glad this one ended up ok and everyone is safe and sound!

The alerts can be pretty boring if you aren't monitoring the Tower. Since you're in the university area, you'll only hear the aircraft side of the communications, and that's IF they're landing to the south. Next time an alert goes out, you'll be better off monitoring the KCLT stream from liveatc.net, you might actually find out what's going on.
